Government Information and Official Sources

Find License Plate Owner is an independent private service, not a government agency. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or operated by any federal, state, or local government entity. The service does not access government systems directly, issue official DMV records, or guarantee the identity of a vehicle's current owner.

Searches are redirected to Bumper.com, an independent third party that the U.S. Department of Justice lists as an approved NMVTIS data provider. Find License Plate Owner itself is not an NMVTIS provider. Third-party information may be unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Official records must be obtained from the authority that maintains them:

1. Acceptance of Terms
